Heather Chell - GM/Proprietor
Probably the most unforgettable memory of my childhood is when I realized the amount of power that is held in food. I was barely out of the finger-painting stage of life when I first started tapping into the magic of dinner as a family ritual as opposed to a means to fill your belly. As a kid, it didn't matter what had happened throughout the day, the moment I walked through that front door, I was swallowed up by the wonderfully intoxicating aromas of my mom or dad's cooking, forgot all about the day's stresses and instantly felt warm and comforted. I was home and happy to be there. It was never anything fancy but there was always something bubbling away on the stove and there was always lots of it. Back then as still to this day, it amazes me to see how a good meal has the capability of bringing people together in such positive, nurturing ways. It is around this very concept, that I built my business on - that feeling of "coming home" to a good home cooked meal and the nurturing qualities of food.
